“TEKST IMAGE WITH PARTICULARIZED LETTERSHAPES”

We will re-shape - particularize - letters

in function of rhythm and composition.

We will interprete the character of a text fragment and

try to actually bring it into its final form as an object.

Supply List

1. 0,3 Automatic pencil w/refills (HB)

1. HB 2 pencil

1. 9B graphite pencil (I will bring mine, students can use them!)

1. Eraser

1. Break-away-type knife

1. Scissors

1. Tape (artists)

1. Glue stick (eventually)

1. Container for rinsing brushes

1. Rag for cleanup

1. Layout or marker paper ( A3 if possible)

1. Plastic triangle

1. Clear plastic measuring ruler (40 cm à 60 cm)

1. Old toothbrush for cleaning pen and old brush for mixing gouache-colors

1. Pointed brushes (choose a smaller and a bigger within the range of 00-2)

1. Flat brush nr. 2 / nr. 4

1. Palets (any type)

1. Gouache (any type)

1. Watercolor and / or watercolor pencils

1. Colored pencils, soft and chalky (I will also bring mine, students can use them!)

1. Speedball pens (C2 / C3 / C4)

1. Pointed pen

1. Also small pieces (rests) of coldpress paper and other prefered paper, for exercises

1. Coldpress paper 200 gr à 300 gr, what you find in Italy (I mostly use Waterford or Arches myself)
